How to add a product in a price book?

You can easily add a product to your price book. If you have price book readily available with products, it makes it easy for you to create quotes.

Let’s see how we can add a product in the price book.

  1. Click PRICEBOOKS on the left navigation bar.

  2. On the PRICEBOOKS page, select the required price book, then click to open it.

  3. On the Price Book, click NEW PRODUCT TO PRICEBOOK and the pop-up wizard will appear.

  4. Search the required product from the PRODUCT list.

  5. Select the charge type.

  6. Enter data in other mandatory fields such as BILLING FREQUENCY, SKU UOM, etc. Click NEXT.

  7. Select the pricing method from the available options (Flat Price, Tier Pricing, Volume Pricing, Stair-step Pricing, Bundle Pricing, Percentage of Total).

  8. Choose the required Quantity UOM. Define the range with price per unit.

  9. Enter the price details as you require.

  10. Select/ Manage deal table properties for the product, select if the quantity or selling term is editable when the product is added to the deal table, etc.

  11. On the clause association window, select and add a clause to the product. Click on Add.

📣 If the list is too long, you can type the product name instead of searching in the drop-down list. When adding a new item to price book, always select the charge type first.
